IT recruitment agency in India: hire developers who can do the work, faster
Every technical CV in India lists every technology. VVeRecruit is an online IT recruitment agency in India that stops matching on that list and starts matching on what the person actually does in a working day: write the API, review the pull request, debug the incident at 11pm, ship the release.
The second change is throughput. Screened freelance HR recruiters and professional HR consultants who specialise in tech hiring work your requirement at the same time rather than in a queue behind someone else's account. In a market where a good backend engineer holds three offers by day nine, being second is the same as being absent.
Roles this covers
Backend Developer, Frontend Developer, Full Stack Developer, Mobile Developer for Android and iOS, QA Engineer and SDET, DevOps Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, Cloud Engineer across AWS, Azure and GCP, Data Engineer, Data Scientist, Machine Learning Engineer, Cybersecurity Analyst, Business Analyst, Product Manager, Scrum Master, Technical Lead, Solution Architect, Engineering Manager, SAP and Salesforce consultants, and L2 or L3 application support.
Product companies, IT services firms, GCCs and startups all hire from this list, and each of them means something slightly different by the same job title.
Why do IT roles stay open even when hundreds apply?
The bottleneck moved. It is not sourcing anymore. It is the gap between a shortlist and a signed offer, and then the gap between a signed offer and a joining date.
Three things stretch that gap in India specifically.
The 90-day notice period. Senior technology roles routinely carry a three-month notice, sometimes negotiable, often not. That is a quarter of a year in which your candidate is still sitting at the old desk, being counter-offered, being approached by two other companies, and reconsidering. Nothing you did during the interview process protects you here. Only staying in contact does.
Panel bandwidth. Your technical rounds are conducted by the same senior engineers who are behind on delivery. Interview slots slip by a week. The candidate reads the delay as disinterest and takes the offer from the company that moved in four days. This one is entirely within your control and it is the most common self-inflicted loss in Indian tech hiring.
The CV has stopped carrying information. Candidates list every framework they have touched, because filters reward it. So "5 years, React, Node, AWS, Kubernetes, Kafka" tells you nothing about whether the person has ever debugged a production memory leak or only followed a tutorial. Keyword matching on a keyword-stuffed document is a closed loop that produces noise.
Demand is not the constraint either. Naukri's JobSpeak index reported IT hiring recovering through early 2026, with AI and machine learning roles growing sharply, at a 41% year-on-year rise in AI/ML postings in February 2026 (Naukri JobSpeak, Feb 2026). More roles chasing the same shortlist makes speed and reach worth more, not less.
What a developer's task list looks like
We break every role into plain-English tasks and ask candidates to rate themselves against the same list — never used, have knowledge, used rarely, used daily — with the context of where they did it.
A Backend Developer, four to seven years:
- Write and maintain REST APIs in Spring Boot
- Write unit tests and keep coverage on new code
- Review pull requests from other developers on the team
- Debug a production incident from logs and traces
- Write SQL against a large table and fix a slow query
- Deploy through the CI pipeline, and roll back a bad release
- Break a story into tasks and estimate it in sprint planning
- Design a schema for a new feature
Compare that to a filter reading "Java, Spring Boot, 5+ years". The filter cannot distinguish a developer who has owned a service in production from one who has written features inside somebody else's framework and never seen a log file.
Line four is the one that separates them. So is line six. A candidate who rates "never used" against rolling back a release has never been on call, whatever the CV says about DevOps exposure.
You edit the list before publishing. Add your stack, drop what you don't use, and put genuinely optional skills in Nice-to-Have rather than stuffing twelve items into "required" and wondering why nobody qualifies.
Seniority, salary and city concentration
The most contested band in Indian tech is three to eight years. That is where product companies, services firms, GCCs and funded startups all compete for the same people, and where counter-offers are most aggressive. Fixed CTC across the vertical runs from around ₹4 lakh for a fresher to ₹60 lakh and beyond for principal engineers and engineering managers in product companies.
Where the talent sits:
- Bengaluru: deepest pool in the country for product, backend, data and platform roles. Also the hardest and most expensive market to close.
- Hyderabad: very strong GCC and enterprise presence, and generally better retention than Bengaluru.
- Pune: services, enterprise product, automotive software, a large QA and support base.
- Noida and Gurgaon: consumer internet, ed-tech, fintech, IT services.
- Chennai: enterprise IT, banking technology, embedded systems.
- Tier-2 cities: Coimbatore, Indore, Kochi, Jaipur and Chandigarh have real engineering talent, much of it people who moved home and would rather not move back.
That last group is worth taking seriously. If your role is remote or hybrid, dropping the location filter widens the pool immediately, and outstation reach is where a distributed recruiter network beats a single city-bound consultancy.
What to expect
You post by answering questions instead of writing a JD. Stack, seniority, team shape, work model, salary band, and what the person does on a normal day. The task list is suggested and you edit it.
For a mid-level role in a metro, a working shortlist inside two weeks is a reasonable expectation. Closing depends mostly on your interview calendar. Then add the notice period, and keep the candidate engaged all the way through it. That is where offers are lost.
Fee is 8.33% of the accepted annual fixed CTC, charged when the person joins. No subscription, no posting fee. The 90-day guarantee covers a free replacement or a credit note.
Questions employers ask
Can you hire for a niche stack like Rust, Elixir, Flutter or embedded C?
Yes, and this is where parallel working pays off most. Niche stacks fail on reach, not on effort. One consultant knows the people he knows. Several specialists working the same role at once cover far more of a small pool, which is exactly the shape of the problem.
How do you deal with candidates who inflate their CVs?
Self-rating against tasks makes exaggeration uncomfortable and specific. A candidate can write "Kubernetes" on a CV without a second thought. Claiming "used daily" against rolling back a failed release, knowing an interview follows, is a different act. The pattern of ratings across a task list is far more revealing than the list of technologies.
Do you handle contract or contract-to-hire?
Our fee model is built for permanent roles: 8.33% of accepted annual fixed CTC on joining. If your requirement is short-term contract staffing, we are not the right fit today.
What about GCC hiring and multiple roles at once?
Multiple roles can run in parallel, each matched to recruiters with depth in that stack and city. GCC hiring works well on this model because the roles are usually well-defined and the volume is steady.
