Terms of Service

The ground rules for using VVeRecruit, whether you are a candidate, an employer or a recruiter.

Last updated: 21 October 2026

Who these terms are between

These terms are between you and Pillai InfoTech LLP, which operates VVeRecruit (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the site you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you use VVeRecruit on behalf of a company, you confirm you are allowed to bind that company.

Accounts

You must be 18 or older and give accurate information. Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has got in. One person, one account per role.

The three roles

Candidates create a profile and can switch on OPEN2WORK to be matched. Using VVeRecruit is free for candidates. Your identity stays masked until an interview is scheduled, as described in the Privacy Policy.

Employers post roles and review the candidates that recruiters submit. Employer fees, including the placement fee, are set out in your employer agreement with us, and nothing in these terms replaces that agreement.

Recruiters apply to join, pay a one-time application fee of ₹9,999 with the application, and are screened before they get access. The fee is non-refundable, including where an application is not approved. Recruiters submit candidates to roles and are paid their share of a placement fee as set out in the recruiter terms shown at approval.

Placement fees

When a company hires a candidate through VVeRecruit, the company owes the placement fee agreed in its employer agreement. The fee is calculated on the candidate’s accepted fixed annual CTC (the standard basis is 8.33% of it, unless your agreement says otherwise) and falls due once the candidate joins. Taxes are charged as applicable. Replacement or credit terms for early exits are in the employer agreement.

Using the service properly

You agree not to:

  • post false, misleading or discriminatory roles, or roles that ask candidates to pay for a job;
  • upload another person’s details or résumé without their permission;
  • scrape, copy or resell the site’s data, or use it to build a competing database;
  • try to break, probe or overload the service, or get around its access controls;
  • harass anyone, or use the service for anything unlawful.

We may remove content, suspend an account or end access if these terms are broken. Where we can, we will tell you why.

No going around the platform

Candidates and roles are introduced on VVeRecruit so that the people who did the work get paid. Employers and recruiters must not use an introduction made through VVeRecruit to hire or place the same person outside the platform to avoid the placement fee. If you do, the fee is still payable as if the hire had been made through VVeRecruit, for a period of 12 months from the introduction, and we may close your account.

Your content, and ours

You keep ownership of what you upload: your profile, résumé, role descriptions and messages. You give us a licence to store, process and show that content as needed to run the service, including showing it to the people described in the Privacy Policy. The VVeRecruit name, logo, software, design and site copy belong to us or our licensors. You may not copy them without written permission.

No guarantee of a job or a hire

VVeRecruit connects candidates, employers and recruiters. We do not employ candidates on behalf of employers, and we do not promise that any search will fill or that any candidate will get an offer. Employers decide who to interview and hire; candidates decide whether to accept. Check what you are told before you rely on it.

Liability

We provide the service with reasonable care but cannot promise it will always be available or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost profits or opportunities, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for fraud.

Ending your account

You can close your account at any time by writing to us. We may suspend or close accounts as described above. Fees already due remain payable, and the sections on fees, going around the platform, liability and governing law continue after the account ends.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will update the date above and email account holders before it applies. Using the service after that date means you accept the new terms.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Mumbai have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, after you have given us a chance to resolve it first by writing to the contact below.
